This Privacy Policy describes how Owlery ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application ("App") and related services. • Personal Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a unique user ID provided by our authentication service.
• User Content: We collect photos that you choose to upload to your profile.
• Financial Information: We track information related to your payment method choice (e.g., pay-per-session or prepaid balance) and your payment history and account balance. We do not process payments directly.
• App Usage Data: We collect data related to your interactions with the App, such as session scheduling, attendance, cancellations, and rescheduling history.
• Device Information: We may collect your device's timezone to ensure accurate scheduling.
• Diagnostics: We collect crash logs and performance data to help us identify and fix issues within the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes, including to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our App and services.

• Schedule, manage, and track your lessons.
• Track payment information and manage your account balance.
• Communicate with you, including responding to your inquiries.

3. How We Share Your Information

  • Firebase (a Google service): For user authentication and cloud storage of your profile photos.
  • Google Calendar: If you choose to integrate your calendar, we will share session information.
  • Sentry: For collecting and analyzing crash logs and performance data.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS): Our backend infrastructure and database are hosted on AWS.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

4. Your Choices

You have certain choices about your information:

• Profile Information: You can review and update your account information at any time by accessing your profile settings in the App.
• Profile Photo: You can delete your profile photo from within the App.
• Account Deletion: You can delete your entire profile and associated data directly from within the App through your profile settings. This action will permanently remove all your personal information, session history, and account data from our systems.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable measures to help protect your information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

6. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the "Effective Date" at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you a notification).
